The All New Blues and Soul Revue pays homage to the classic cult film 'The Blues Brothers (TM)'. Produced and managed solely by Dave, his creative attributes are combined in this one show, which has grown from strength to strength since its foundation in 2002. Dave portrays John Belushi's character 'Jake', and his acting skills are combined with his vocal versatility and stage presence to bring the character to life on stage. Incorporating  up to an 11-piece band, the show has developed enormously from its grass roots foundations, to today being regarded as one of the world's top tributes to The Blues Brothers (TM).

Whilst the show had its origins in the UK pub / club circuit, Dave's dedication and perseverance has seen it evolve enormously over the past sixteen years. Dave has now performed this show over 1500 times, and he has toured it as far afield as Malawi and Dubai, as well as having performed several theatre productions in Germany.

In the UK, the band has headlined Cambridge Rock Festival (2018), supported The Lightning Seeds at Santa Pod's 'BugJam' (2017), endorsed Chevrolet UK and performed at the British Touring Car Championships at Silverstone - as well as covering many more prestigious events. The band are available to book as a duo, 4-piece, 6-piece, 8-piece and full 11-piece, and they still perform at all kinds of event, from birthday parties and weddings through to festivals and theatres.

Dave Wiggins is the founder member, manager, creative director and lead performer in The All New Blues and Soul Revue. Upon completion of his Masters degree in 2020, Dave intends to write a book detailing the story of the band from its foundation in 2002 to the present day. It will be semi-autobiographical and will also include many anecdotes from the road - as well as a real insight into the unusual world of tribute bands.
